Chepstow & District Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club for ages 8 to 18 focusing on developing and improving competitive stroke technique, building up fitness and stamina as well as having fun.  All training sessions take place at Chepstow Leisure Centre. Swimmers are expected to train at least twice per week and to take part in competitions.

The club is organised into three squads: Junior Development, Advanced Development and Performance.

Joining Process

To enquire about joining, please e-mail the Membership Secretary membership@swimchepstow.co.uk.

The swimmer will be invited to a trial session, during which a coach will assess them to determine the squad most suited to their current ability.  Most new swimmers begin in the Junior Development Squad.

The coach will feed back the trial assessment to the Membership Secretary, who will then contact you with the outcome and an invitation to join the club, with full joining instructions.

Membership Fees

Swimmers pay £43 per month in Water Fees, which is your contribution to the cost of pool hire from Monmouthshire County Council.  

All swimmers must also become members of the sport's governing association, Swim Wales.  This is currently £39 per year.
